Justin Hill PhD, LLM
Justin joined Ipulse in 2010 from a leading international law firm, where he built and managed a highly rated full service IP team over the course of 11 years. As a Patent Attorney he practices over a broad range of IP matters, covering IP strategy and portfolio management, IP prosecution, commercialisation and enforcement of IP rights including patents, designs, trademarks, domains and trade secrets.
He spends much of his time counselling companies on IP policy, portfolio strategy, competitor monitoring and IP risk management, opposition and revocation actions, appeals, commercial negotiations, contentious IP matters, exploitation (including global licensing programs, special purpose vehicles, JVs, collaborations, divestments and the like using his experience of due diligence, competition law and tax structuring).
With a first class degree in Chemistry and a PhD in semiconductor physics, Justin’s technology practice is broad and he assists leading companies in various sectors including communications, IT, aerospace, marine, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, healthcare, food and drink, energy, cleantech, financial services, manufacturing, sports and leisure, utilities and creative industries.
