Julius Stobbs MA, BA
Julius joined Ipulse in 2009 as Head of Trademarks. Prior to this he was a Partner at a major European firm for seven years.
Julius has an unparalleled knowledge of trademark law, and applies this in a commercial way to provide practical and proactive advice for his clients. He has extensive experience in contentious trademark proceedings (including many appearances before the Appointed Person). He has also provided advice to many clients on management and organisation of IP portfolios, trademark and domain name policies, as well as IP strategies. Clients appreciate Julius’s ability to combine a relaxed manner with an ability to grasp key issues quickly and provide focused advice.
Julius is on the Organising Committee for INTA’s Annual Meeting and is a regular speaker at INTA and other events. He trains candidates for the ITMA exams and has also lectured on International Trademark Law at Manchester University.
He spends his spare time studying for additional degrees, and relaxes by playing golf (in which he has represented his country) and making jewellery (commissions welcome).
