Erica Dutton BSc, MSc
Erica has experience of many technology fields, including network-based communications, broadcasting, information processing, business methods, artificial intelligence, optoelectronics and medical physics.
Until 2001 she was Head of Patents at BT, managing its substantial Patent Division. This involved setting the direction of patenting for BT, and managing the attorneys and support staff. She also had responsibility for drafting and prosecuting patent applications in the communications field with an emphasis on software-related inventions, for oppositions at the EPO and for dealing with many different patent cases.
