Colm Murphy BA, MSc, LLM
Colm specialises in biochemical and pharmaceutical patents. His practice covers the full repertoire in this complex area, from drafting and prosecuting patent applications to EPO Oppositions and Appeals, and freedom-to-operate clearances.
Colm qualified as a Patent Attorney at a major European firm, where he became a partner. He then moved to another large practice as head of its Biochemical group before joining Ipulse.
He is a member of the CIPA biotechnology committee, a director of PAMIA which provides indemnity for the profession, and a frequent speaker on biochemical and pharmaceutical patent issues.
Colm is a keen golfer, sports enthusiast and family man.
